Retainer Engagements
For maximum effectiveness as a business advisor, it is critical that indepth knowledge is gained and maintained regarding the clients business, corporate culture and unique needs and environments, both internal and external.
The preferred route for continuing engagements is therefore to contract for a monthly retainer with an initial contracted period normally of 3-6 months.
This method of engagment allows for both a progressively deepening understanding between advisor and client, but also the client to benefit from regular “check in” meetings, calls as appropriate on focus areas.
